It’s quarter past six somewhere…

We wanted a drink that felt like fall and wanted to use the Sapling Maple Rye we had recently picked up so we decided to try a “Quarter Past Six” Based on The Lamplighter cocktail. It’s a great fall cocktail, warming but still bright.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz Scotch
  • 1/2 oz Laird’s Applejack
  • 1/2 oz Sapling Maple Rye
  • 1/2 oz Lemon Juice
  • Peychaud’s bitters

Assembly:

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice, shake and strain into a rocks glass over a large cube and garnish with expressed lemon peel.
