Hard as it is to believe, fall is coming. End of summer, back to school, and of course, all things pumpkin. And I do love me a pumpkin beer. However, fall has so much more to offer than just pumpkin, like apple!
Fall flavors are my way of gearing up for all the other things that come with this time of the year, and what better way to get in these flavors than during cocktail hour?
An apple cider seemed like a perfect choice, and the addition of cranberry makes it even better.
The thing that made me nervous was this direction on the can: “Shake hard. Count to 10, open slowly.” Really?
Since I am someone who like following directions, I went for it, nervously.
Turned out, there was no crazy spray, and no sediment left in the can, so I got all that good flavor. The cranberry added a little tartness, and did mellow out the the typical bite of apple cider. Also, such a pretty color! Will definitely add this to my must have fall beverage list.
