After my last attempt, which I titled A Caramel Experiment, I decided to tweak my recipe and make a new one for my wife. I am glad I gave it another shot ans was able to learn from my original experiment to come up with this sweet treat. The addition of the Clyde May’s Whiskey was key as it cut a bit of the sharpness of the J. Seeds and the specific flavor of Clyde May’s Alabama Style works perfectly as it tends to have a slight apple finish.
- 2.75 oz J Seeds Whiskey, Apple Cider Whiskey
- 1 oz Clyde May’s Alabama Style Whiskey
- .25 oz Torani Caramel Syrup
- 1 dropper of Bitterman’s Bitters Elemakule Tiki Bitters
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into an old fashioned glass over a large, clear, ice cube.
Garnish with some freshly ground cinnamon and a cinnamon stick
